Analysis: Valparaiso is coming off of a huge 85-54 win against a poor Georgia Southern Team. Northern Illinois lost to a poor Nebraska Omaha Team last week 64-77. They arent even a division 1 team. Valparaiso is a 20 point favorite heading into the game and i fully expect that number to be exceeded. Im picking Valparaiso with a 20+ win against a very bad Northern Illinois team.

Analysis: Harvard struggled against a non Division 1 team MIT, but pulled it out in the end 67-54. Harvard has been dealt a tremendous amount of blows already this season, not only losing there top scorer from graduating, but losing Kyle Casey and Brandyn Curry there two best players. That 26-5 season last year will not even be closed to matched this year, they will be lucky to make it to .500. UMass returns there full team that just missed out on the NCAA tournament last year. I am picking UMass to win by 13-15 points so i am going DD on Umass.

Analysis: With Temple moving to the Big East next year, they have to prepare themselves for stiff competition. Kent State should be an easy W for the Temple Owls to get their season going. Kent State struggled all of last year in the MAC conference. If Kent State wins, it will be an Upset. the line for this game is only -3.5 on Temple. I am picking Temple straight up without hesitation.

Analysis: First of all, we have a Horizon league team vs a Big East team. If that isnt enough for you to make your decision then how about St. Johns returns pretty much their whole team back from last year. Although St. Johns had a disappointing year and lost to detroit last year 69-63. It is @ St. Johns and Detroit wont win this game, period. There is no way the Red Storm can lose to the Titans two years in a row. I expect St. Johns to win by 10+. St. Johnson is a 4.5 point favorite as well.
